Airtightness

Air leakage testing involves pressurising a house through the use of temporary fan equipment to determine the air permeability rate. This test is required by Building Regulations AD L1A 2006 for all new houses, but can also be carried out on existing houses as a means for determining the overall energy rating of a property.

Living Space Sciences are registered with the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing, and are accredited to perform and certify air leakage tests in accordance with the Building Regulations
